Tomoka Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution enjoyed an informative presentation by Joycelyn and Carl Hargrove of the Southeastern Guide Dogs, on March 2, 2018, at the Cooper Memorial Library.
Southeastern Guide Dogs transforms lives by creating and nurturing extraordinary partnerships between people and dogs. They train dogs of the highest pedigree for people who are blind and for veterans with post-traumatic stress and other disabilities. They provide premier dogs and lifetime follow-up services at no cost, without any government funding. The program is funded by many generous donors. Check out their website: GuideDogs.org
