J.C. Karate MMA Students Win Intermediate Absolute Division!��

On Saturday, February 19th, J.C. Karate MMA student, John Serafini, participated in a MMAC grappling tournament at the Florida State Fair. John performed superbly! He won his Intermediate Heavyweight division in dominating fashion. Next John entered both the Intermediate and Advanced Absolute divisions which pit all students regardless of weight class against each other. John won the Intermediate Absolute division beating even some instructors to claim the prize. He finished third in the Advanced Absolute division losing to a 3rd degree Gracie Ju-Jitsu Blackbelt, with over 12 years of experience, with only one minute remaining in the match. John's record for the day was 7 - 1 with five wins coming by submission!
