Spelling Bee Winners

Bushnell Elementary School recently held its annual spelling bee with two dozen participants from 4th and 5th grade classrooms. Pictured are Darius Powell (left-seated), Mrs. Teda McMullen(assistant principal), Tristan Lamaire(right-standing) and Karsyn Hogan(right-seated). Karsyn, a fourth grader in Mr. Wyckoff's classroom, was the first place winner and will represent BES at the district spelling bee. Tristan, a fifth grader in Mrs. Shea's class, was the second place winner. Darius, a fifth grader in Mrs. Bryant's class, is an alternate.
