Student Winners of Contest

Recently, students at Bushnell Elementary School and other elementary schools competed in a VFW-sponsored essay and coloring contest. Courtney Grimshaw (pictured above with VFW members), a second grader in Mr. Vigilanti's classroom, won 3rd place for which she received a certificate of recognition and a cash award. Over 400 entries were received for the VFW contest. Another student, Breanna Stephens (not pictured), a 4th grader in Mrs. Stephenson's homeroom, won 1st place in the coloring contest.
