"Helping Hooves" Benefit Horse Ride/Drive

Come enjoy a scenic day with your horse at Sumter's own Lake Panasoffkee Wildlife Mgmt. Area on Saturday, March 3rd, 2012 (rain date 3/04/12) while helping raise funds and awareness for the rescued horses of the Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County. A $25 donation for each horse/handler team participating will receive a catered lunch along with live musical entertainment and a chance at great door prizes. Along with a chance at a 50/50 drawing, there will be great auction items. Meet some of the Humane Society/SPCA's adoptable horses on site too!
Ride or drive your horse within this beautiful preserve but proof of Neg. Coggins is required and minors must be accompanied by parent/guardian and wear safety approved equestrian helmets. Lake Panasoffkee WMA is located on SR 44 in Wildwood, 2 miles West of I-75 exit #329. Registration begins at 7:30am. Riders out by 9am, will return for great lunchtime activities and the event lasts till final drawing item is won. There are stalls and camping accommodations, running water and ample trailer parking, shade and a pavilion for our comfort too!
