Webster in Bloom

Come and join the fun! Webster in Bloom is seeking volunteers to continue the city beautification program for 2012. Webster in Bloom is an organization that has been working together to bring about change in the landscape and appearance of the city.

Have you noticed the flowers around the Community Hall and the City Hall? Have you seen the gardens on the medians on East Central Avenue? How about all of the beautiful molasses pots that were painted and decorated and filled with flowers at many of the local businesses? Isn't the entrance sign nicely landscaped? Have you sampled something from the Community Vegetable garden at the side of the Community Hall?

This all came about through a grass roots group of volunteers who worked together last year to make these things happen. Now is the time to come and get involved. Bring you time, energy and enthusiasm. We have a lot of fun and WE NEED YOU!

Join us at the next organizational meeting on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 6 PM in the Webster Community Hall. Meet your friends and neighbors and learn about the program. Find out our plans for 2012. REMEMBER THIS IS OUR CITY; LET'S MAKE IT LOOK GREAT!!
