Activities at Chinsegut Nature Center:
Friday, September 10, 6-8 p.m. - Incredible Edibles by Chinsegut staff and volunteers. Join us for an edible plant/wild game program. Bring a place setting and camp chair.
Tuesday, September 21, 6-8 p.m. - Backpacking and Water Camping by Jim Garrison. Join us for a backpacking/water camping seminar with hands-on demonstrations.
Saturday, September 25, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Chinsegut Butterfly Workshop by Marc Minno. Bring a pair of binoculars and a butterfly field guide.
Tuesday, September 28, 9-11 a.m. - Big Pine Fall Wildflower and Butterfly Walk. Bring a pair of binoculars and a butterfly field guide. Meet at the Big Pine Tract off Old Crystal River Road.
Saturday, October 2, 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. - Reptile and Amphibian Festival. Join us for reptile and amphibian exhibits, walks, talks and demonstrations. Puppet show, and a large Florida amphibian and reptile indoor exhibit as well as regularly scheduled walks and talks by experts through out the day.
