Sumter Adult ED Offers Career Courses

Wanting to fulfill your long-time dream? Sumter Adult Education Center will be offering several Career
Courses this fall:
Air Conditioning, Heating, and Ventilation (250 hr.) begins August 28th in Wildwood. In one semester, learn to be an HVAC Mechanic I Helper or Installer. Obtain EPA 608 and OSHA certifications. Public Safety Telecommunications (911 Dispatch Operator) begins August 29th in Sumterville. This 232 hr. course prepares you for employment as an entry level dispatcher for police, fire or ambulance. The Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) course begins September 11th. This 120-hr. FL Board of Nursing approved program will prepare you for employment as nursing assistants, nursing aides, and orderlies. The course Includes CPR/FA.
