With summer right around the corner, it’s time to think about keeping children healthy while school is out. Each year Sumter County Schools, in partnership with U.S. Department of Agriculture, provides free meals to children during the summer.
Any child 18 years or younger may come to eat. There are no income requirements or registration. This summer, meals will be served Monday through Thursday with breakfast from 7:30-8:15 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m.-noon.
Bushnell Elementary – June 12 through July 20.
Webster Elementary – June 12 through July 2.
Wildwood Elementary – June 12 through July 16.
All three schools – July 3-7 will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.
