Langley Health Services to Host Party for Kids

Posted on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 1:40 am

On December 08, 2018 Langley Health Services (LHS) will be hosting the 13th Annual Laura Vickers Christmas Party for Kids. This annual event is held in memory of an employee who was killed by a drunk driver on May 15, 2004 at the age of 21.
Laura Vickers began working in the Medical Records Department at LHS and eventually transferred to the Healthy Start Program working with kids. Laura played a big part in the planning of the first ever Christmas Party for Kids. Word has it that this was a dream of Laura’s. After her death, Langley decided to name the party in her memory.
Please join us on December 08, 2018 from 12:00-3:00pm. Children will get the chance to meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus, receive a toy, and a chance to win a bicycle. There will also be bounce houses, games, music and food. The entire event is free of charge. The event will be held at our Sumterville site located at 1389 S. US 301 Sumterville.
