Jesus Christ! The Real Reason for the Season!

Posted on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 1:33 am

How long as it been since you sang some Christmas carols at the top of your lungs-even off key? How long has it been since it snowed on Christmas Eve exactly at 6:00 p.m.? Well, one year to be honest. It always snows right about 6 p.m. at Wahoo Church. Join us Christmas Eve, December 24th, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. for caroling, the Christmas Story and snow!
John 3:16-17 For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal live. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him.
How long has it been since you celebrated Jesus Christ’s birth and all He did for you? A great pastor in Atlanta asked, “is Jesus Christ just your once-a-week mascot that you rally around on a Sunday….and then you sideline Him the rest of the week?” What’s your answer? Christmas would be a good time to change.
The week of Christmas our services are altered: Sunday, December 23 10:45 service only. Wednesday, December 26 no services.
But we’ll be back to our regular schedule in January plus new events will be happening in 2019. Check out the January 2 Sumter Shopper or email questions@wahoochurch.org
