Intertribal Holiday Powwow

Posted on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 1:51 am

2010 was the first holiday powwow for the Panokee Tribe. This year will be our seventh. We as a tribe are continuously seeking assistance with the proposed proclamation, made under the presidency of John F. Kennedy in 1962, that the fourth Friday of September be set aside as a state and federally recognized native American holiday.
Please come and support our proclamation by attending the powwow on September 22, 23, 24, 2017. Cost is $5.00 per person — times are 10am to 9 pm Friday and Saturday — 10am to 5 pm on Sunday.
Free parking and entertainment, native crafters, singing, dancing, food vendors and storytelling for the children.
