Beginning November 1, 2018, the Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County has 100 FREE Spay/Neuter vouchers available to qualifying Sumter County residents’ dogs and cats. Please remember that ALL breeds are eligible for this program. The added expense of feeding and vetting so many additional pets can put a large financial burden on a household with limited income.
Did you know that even puppies and kittens can also reproduce at young as FOUR MONTHS OLD? Be part of the solution as a responsible pet owner and have your pets spayed or neutered before you are facing a litter of unwanted puppies or kittens who are also then facing an uncertain future. Call the shelter or come by to complete your application on the number of pets you need neutered before it’s too late. Please share this with anyone you think could benefit from their FREE “Big Fix” Spay/Neuter Voucher program.
