Having An Attitude Of Gratitude

Posted on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 1:24 am

We live in a very dissatisfied world. It’s easy to sit around and think about what you don’t have and what you need. None of us can control our circumstances but we can control and choose our attitudes. Come to First Baptist Church and let us help you develop an attitude of gratitude this Thanksgiving season.
This Sunday we start a new series trying to answer the challenging spiritual and biblical questions that people have and how it relates to the time we live in. The bible is a very relevant book for all ages. Worship Service time is at our new time slot of 10:00 am, with Growth Group bible studies at 9 am. We have a donation only breakfast at 8:00 am. Starting this Sunday at 6:00 pm we start a new bible study Growth Group called, “Christmas: Who Needs it.” We have pot luck snack time at 5:30 pm before we start the study. Wednesday night we have Family Night Supper at 5:30 pm and Wednesday night prayer and bible study groups at 6:30 pm. Everyone is invited to come and get plugged in.
Our Young at Heart Senior groups meets December 3rd with a pot luck dinner and they will pack up cookies for our Military this Christmas. A Ladies Ornamental Brunch will be Saturday, December 8th at 11:00 am. Everyone brings an ornament and let’s have some Christmas fun.
