Posted on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 8:09 am

Are you or someone you care for in need of a little extra help this month? Are things tight and a little extra food would go a long way? Everyone needs a helping hand at times, and First Baptist Church of Oxford is excited to offer that helping hand to the community by opening a Food Pantry to serve the Oxford, Florida area.
FBC Oxford’s prayer is to reach families in the community by caring for physical needs while always being prepared to care for spiritual needs as well. As you come and receive food for your family we are here to pray for you, encourage you, and walk alongside you. Our loving volunteers are excited to meet you and help you and your family this month and in the months to come!
The Food Pantry is open from 9:00am-12:00pm the fourth Saturday of every month beginning this September (9/23/17), and qualified individuals need to contact FBC Oxford to pre-register for an appointment. To qualify for assistance individuals must bring proof of residency, social security cards for all individuals in the household, and proof of income or government assistance. To best serve everyone, walk-ins will not be permitted on days the Food Pantry is open.
If you would like additional information on the Food Pantry such as how to sign up and to check if you are eligible for assistance, visit us at www.fbcoxfordfl.org/food-pantry or contact us by email (fbcoxfordfl@yahoo.com) or phone (352-748-2392).
