Fall In Florida Means Trunk or Treat Festival

Posted on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 3:13 pm

Trunk or Treat Festival at Lake Panoffkee, Florida attracts 1,000 people each year.

I saw something humorous posted on Facebook the other day: “You know it is fall in Florida when the license plates start to change color.” Fall brings a lot of exciting things to the area. The days start to cool off and there is a crispness in the air.
At First Baptist Church, fall means a lot of things. For one thing it is our annual Trunk or Treat festival. This has become one of the largest events, if not largest event in Lake Panasoffkee with over 1,000 in attendance last year. Our annual trunk or treat will be October 31st (Halloween night) from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. We want to offer a safe alternative to Halloween for kids. There will be games, candy, popcorn, hayrides, as well as many other activities. Fall also brings our Fall Car Cruise Inn on Saturday, October 12th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with beautiful antique cars and available food items. All proceeds benefit our church men’s ministry.
Come worship with us Sundays as we are teaching our Destiny series in the book of Revelation. Service times are 9:00 am Sunday Growth group bible studies, for all ages, and Sunday worship at 10:00 am. We offer Wednesday night adult, youth, and children’s ministries at 6:00 pm. We now offer Sunday morning bus pick up along with our Wednesday night pick-ups. Call 352-793-5510 for more information. Our church address is 802 CR 470. Website is fbclp@fbclakepan.com.
