The Early Learning Coalition of the Nature Coast is holding a fundraiser on November 16, 6pm, at The Waterfront Inn in The Villages to bring the Sumter County community together to support early childhood education for low income families.
“The officers of Citizens First Bank are excited to be a part of building a strong foundation for Sumter’s children by sponsoring the Preschool 4 ALL Ball,” says April Richey, Executive Assistant at Citizens First Bank. Other sponsors for the event include Sarah Jane and Howard Hewitt, New Frontier Title Company, and the Sumter Sheriff’s Office Benevolent Fund.
The event will start with a cocktail reception and silent auction followed by a sit-down dinner with a live auction. The proceeds from this event will provide early care and education services for economically disadvantaged children in Sumter County.
The Early Learning Coalition currently serves 699 children in Sumter offering financial assistance to low-income families for early education and care so they can become financially self-sufficient and their young children can be successful in school in the future.
