Special Event Benefits Teaching Zoo
Nov 16 @ 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm

The Florida International Teaching Zoo And The Villages Rialto Theater are combining forces to present a fund raising spectacle – The 1952 Best Picture Oscar Winning DeMille Classic: “The Greatest Show on Earth”. On the big screen the colossal epic tale (three years in the making) about the biggest circus ever – Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey combined shows. As told thru the lives of the performers, animals, fans, and roustabouts, this 3 ring tale brings the classic circus days to life for children of all ages with death defying thrills, mammoth elephants, glorious show girls, side splitting comedy, and a cast complete with Charlton Heston, Betty Hutton , and Jimmy Stewart as Buttons the Clown.
Special Benefit Performances will be shown at The Villages Rialto Theater – Historic Spanish Springs Friday, November 16, 2018 at 6:30 pm and a Sunday Circus Matinee November 18 at 2:00 pm. All ticket purchases benefit the conservation/building fund of the Florida International Teaching Zoo – Bushnell (www.flzooschool.com or on FB. ) Tickets are only $15.
Professor Brent De’Witt will perform comedy, magic and circus puppetry in the Rialto Lobby throughout Circus Day. But wait there is more – The Villages Own Clown Alley Painted Jesters will be tickling patrons’ fancies. Balloon Animals anyone?
The Loomis Brothers Circus Circus Treat Department will be offering (zoo donation) traditional circus favorites – cotton candy and Kromers’ inspired dry roasted circus peanut packs (special zoo prizes in random bags.) ALL theater admissions and circus treats are a tax deductible donation to the Florida International Teaching Zoo.
Come One ! Come All! To The Lost World of The Greatest Show on Earth on the Big Screen – oh and help The Florida Teaching Zoo protect endangered black jaguars, threatened Patas monkeys, endangered Tamarins, rare birds, Ne’Ne’ geese, and a plethora of exotic birds and critters.

FMX Raising Hope Charity Bike Show

Florida Motorcycle Xperience is hosting their first annual charity fund raiser for the Hope Ministries Center of Bushnell. We are raising money to help hungry families this holiday season. A $10 donation is requested to put a bike in the show. First place prize is a Beef O’Brady’s gift card and basket made by The Parlor Salon. Raffles will be held for t-shirts, decals, gift cards, etc.
