Bad Experiences with Church or So-Called Christians?

Posted on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 1:49 am

Have you had a bad experience in church or with someone who calls themselves a Christian? Join the club! Sometimes it runs you away from God, which is tragic. Don’t give up. Try Wahoo, The Church with a Difference.
Wahoo has received criticism about our dress code saying we are being irreverent. Obviously, those Christians haven’t bothered to read James 2:3. James, the brother of Jesus says (paraphrased here!) “if you pay more respect to the person dressed in fine clothes and give them a great place to sit, and tell the poor person, not dressed so finely, oh, go stand over there or sit on the floor” you are wrong! Actually, he says you have become “judges with evil thoughts.” So, Jeans, T-shirts and tattoos welcome at Wahoo!
Sunday Morning: 8 a.m. Traditional Service; 9 a.m. Breakfast, 9:30 Small Group Studies, 10:45 Contemporary Service. Childcare 9:30 until noon.
Sunday Night: 5:00 Dinner, 5:30 Special Bible Studies for men and women. Childcare.
Wednesdays: 6:00 p.m. Dinner, 6:30 p.m. Very Interactive Anything-Can-Happen Adult Bible Study, Children’s Church and Youth Group. Childcare.
If you missed our Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study in August, we meet the last Saturday of every month at Darrell’s Diner in Bushnell at 7:00 a.m. It’s a good way to get to know us, our pastor and make new friendships that can be lasting. Next date is September 29th.
Wahoo Church is in Bushnell, CR48 just 4.5 miles west of I-75 at 4517 CR319. 352-793-6015. Security on premises. Imperfect people welcome.
